They provided me with good service and whenever I needed to make a change in coverage they were very accommodating and when I had a claim they were very quick in taking care of it.
Farmers is the absolute worst insurance company around, their communication is poor, customer service is poor & they don’t seem to care about their customers needs
I cannot say enough about how happy I am with your service. My agent was superb and got me a one year policy at a fixed low price so I no longer have to watch for payment increases that always happened with the other companies I have used in the past. I know I have a true advocate who's efforts are on MY behalf! I am a customer for life and always recommend you to friends and aquanitences.
MetLife provides a great value if you measure a company only by their premiums. Unfortunately, after setting up a home, auto, and umbrella policy with them, they failed to START my home and auto policy. My umbrella policy, however, went through. A month after I started my policies, I received a notice saying that my umbrella policy was being cancelled since I didn't have home or auto through them. Fortunately I had not yet cancelled my existing insurance since I was waiting for ID cards from MetLife which never arrived, otherwise I would have ended up being uninsured during this time. I called MetLife to discuss the situation. My call was answered quickly by a friendly representative. She could see that these policies existed, but she couldn't determine anything beyond that. She offered to transfer me to sales where I could then set up another policy. I refused her offer as 1) I went through an excellent agent at Answer and I wanted him to get credit for the policy, and 2) I felt that any additional time spent with MetLife was a waste. If they can't figure out how to start a policy, I have absolutely zero faith in them to be able to pay me in the event of a claim. Unfortunately, my employer uses MetLife for dental insurance. They have a tendency to deny claims, and I've encountered that first hand. I complained about this to my dentist once, and I learned that this is par for the course. At the end of the day, I believe I dodged a bullet. If a company can't determine whether or not you have a policy with them when , why should I expect them to be able to pay out if the need arises? Stay away from the train wreck that is MetLife.
