I have Mapfire for home & cars but with different agents and they can not give me credit for both because I have different agents. Also my son was in a minor accident in 2015. A scratch that needed some paint, my son had no damage and in 2017 they accessed him over $500.00 and them more than doubled his insurance for 2018 as well as increasing mine. My sons car is in my name but he is the only driver.

I have not been totally dissatisfied with Maphrey ins. I have not had any auto claims to file or major repairs. Just normal everyday pay insurance premiums. The only occasion I was very unhappy about was, at the onset of getting the insurance dealing with the agent. During any of our conversations did the agent ever mention that at renewal. The premium would be double the amount of my normal premiums. I had to sign up for automatic deductions (which I was unhappy about) but that being said, at renewal time. My account was debited more than I was aware of. Being unaware, out my account in jeopardy. My income is limited and a strict budget is extremely important. After 3/4 conversations, I still lost the point, as I needed auto insurance. My thot was a customer should be made aware of every transaction especially where finances are involved. Unfortunately, I have not found auto insurance that beats the premium amounts. Should I ever need to file anytime of claim, I hope this company will be a "standup " Company. I am always checking other companies and most are to know avail..

I'm paying almost $400 a month and I chose all of the options to give me a lower price. My deductible is $1000. I only chose this because it was my first car and I didnt know better. In my entire driving record I've only recieved one ticket and it was almost 4 years ago. I have never been in an accident. $400 is ridiculous.

I would not recommend this company to ANYONE! BUYER BEWARE! If you get into an accident and is not at fault, like I was they will not work for you. They tried to blame me for 50% of damage even though I was parked and was hit the guy drove off I got his plate number and also had a witness. I had picture of witness plates that I took in front of witness and took his name and number without any hesitation on his part. I gave this information to everyone I needed to after an accident. Maphre reported they spoke with the witness and that information was helpful and hey were able to gather similar information from him as well. Now today Jamie Health my claim adjuster acted very unprofessional started yelling at me when I asked him why I am being charged for 50% of the parts. The parts they are claiming I need to pay for were damaged a lot during this accident. This man became angry threatening to end this recorded call. I told him give me your manager. So he said ok put me on the phone with a Paul Coleman and who acted very professional and helpful at first and apologized for Jamie’s behaviors asking he look into this situation more for me. I then was told due to the accident being a hit and run and the man who owns the car denied the situation so for then that’s enough to go on. Paul told me that I caused most of the damage. I’d love to know how I did? I was parked mind you in a parking space in front of a restaurant and an insurance agency. This man hits me while I was still in my running vehicle parked and yet this is all my insurance will do for me. They will tell me I’m at fault! So now I have to fit a $315 bill to get my car back. After all my lost wages after this accident and when the accident happened I was working at the time for UberEATS and parked outside my restaurant for the food pickup. I had to cancel and was locked out of app at that point and unable to make money then had my car being fixed for weeks as they tried to get payment. This company doesn’t work for you they just want to take your money. I

Pricing is not competitive on auto insurance -- we've never had a claim so not sure how service is. Homeowners we'll stick with Mapfre
