I've been a Peninsula customer since 1999. I contacted them for a plumbing service call. Chuck arrived and was fantastic in getting the issue resolved very quickly and efficiently. In times past, Chuck the Plumber has come out for prior plumbing calls and his quality and service is always top-notch, the best. Always very satisfied with Chuck. (now if this review were about Peninsula's recycle pickup, that's another story where the service is extremely unsatisfactory). The 5-star rating is based on my plumbing experiences with Chuck and Peninsula.

Very poor customer service. I signed a contract to pay budget payments so that Peninsula would keep propane in my tank. The tank ran empty on one of the coldest days of the year. I waited over 24 hours for a response to an emergency call and still had to call back to get that response. During those 24 hours I was told 4 times I would get a call back, spent a total of three hours on hold waiting for someone to answer and had to redial about 30 times because I only got a busy signal. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY ENEMIES!

Continued Positive experience with Peninsula. Called for plumbing issue and received call-back to get it scheduled; Chuck S**** arrived early and replaced my old rusty disposal at a very reasonable cost. He is a very kind and courteous person; he is a very clean worker. I will continue with Peninsula and I highly recommend you ask for Chuck S**** for plumbing expertise.

Often miss recycling pick-up, though trash usually is picked up as expected. The biggest problem is getting someone on the phone! Their instructions say "leave a message and your call will be returned by the end of the workday." No call back occurs. Today it took 3 phone calls and waiting in a queue for 20 minutes to get someone on the phone. Meanwhile our full recycling can will be sitting at the curb through another weekend. However I am solving this problem; I contracted with another company - and at a cheaper quarterly rate - that had a representative answer the phone immediately. Very unhappy with service at this company!

I'm writing about Peninsula Trash/Recycling pick up. Yesterday was trash day but they did not come to my house to pick it up. A few weeks ago I had the same problem with my recycling. After contacting them numerous times I finally took some of the recycling to their office and left it there. Today I have been wanting to talk with someone but cannot get through on the phone. This is disinterested service and does not belong in the community.

Have been customers going on 4 years. Have had P.M. done on HVAC and our ducts cleaned. Couldn't ask for better technicians. (The end of positive) Customer service for this business is nearly non-existent. THEY REFUSE TO RETURN PHONE CALLS irregardless of the type of message left. Trash pick-up is deplorable. Have not had trash pick-up for 2 consecutive weeks now and yet no explanation as to why. This is not a CUSTOMER FRIENDLY business. Because of phone calls not returned have had to go directly to their business to get answers. They do not care about their customer base seemingly forgetting how they make money to pay their employee's salaries and turn a profit. Kind of like what the N.F.L. players are doing to their fan base. (Being ignored) Was in their office yesterday and found out by accident that they have changed their policy on picking up missed customers trash. THEY NO LONGER DO THAT. Wouldn't it be nice to receive a notice in the mail providing updated policy on trash pickup. They at least provide a credit now for missed pickup even though that does nothing for a full trash cans.

Continually Missing trash pickup. Now having difficulty getting anyone to respond. to calls, text or email. Are all the drivers getting an up to date pickup list? Management seems lacking. If you manage to get anyone they will put you on the pickup hot list, which seems to get the drivers attention and you get trash pickup.

After calling Peninsula for a plumber on 9/14/2017, Chuck Smith was at my home in the time frame I was told someone would be there when I called. In less then an hour, he had found the problem with my septic system drain and fixed it! He also suggested some things I could do to prevent having the problem happen again. Thank you Peninsula and especially Chuck Smith.

Constantly missed service every week and having to call to have someone pick up my trash or recycling. Do not recommend service for refuse. Save your money and go with different provider.

I called peninsula for help on a hot water heater that was leaking. Mr. Chuck Smith Was polite and he took time to explain price . Mr. Smith did the job in a timely manner. I am very pleased with the job he did and I would call peninsula again.
