PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Never use this insurance, I had them for 2 years, i canceled a month ago and this month they took their payment again, you can’t reach them to discuss anything except getting insurance, once they are getting your payment they are unreachable!

Always very happy if their pront response and always looking after their clients Unfortunately I had the accidents but, I hope to one day go back to Mercury. Best company I got ever. Thanks so much for everything!
We had no claims at all and yet our rate went up more than what we'd pay with a new company. Also, the reason we looked into a new company to begin with, was all the payment trouble with Mercury. We gave them all the bank account information they asked for over the phone, to automatically take payments from the account monthly. They sent us a notification saying everything was verified and we were good to go. Then, when our payment time came up the next month, we heard from them a week later saying we had to pay all kinds of extra fee's or they'd cancel our insurance. We called them to find out why and they said the bank account # they had was wrong. Clearly they took it down incorrectly over the phone and didn't actually verify it; as they'd said. In trying to get them to remove the fees and get it straightened out, some of the reps we encountered were extremely rude; and they never removed all the fees. Then, they said it could no longer be automatic and we'd have to pay another way monthly. After a couple months of that, we found that we could just pay the Full amount all at once. We had NEVER been offered this option before, or that is what we would have done from the beginning and avoided all the trouble. The big reason we didn't stay with them, was that they were so rude about something that was their mistake and we weren't told about all of our payment options up front.
