Quotes didn't match the rate. Used deceptive means to raise my rates twice by physically mailing me paperwork that only existed to raise my rates if I didn't return them. Never ever Foremost ever again. Regret paying for a 6 month contract, would have cancelled so much sooner!!!

I don't see why anyone would ever choose this company based on these reviews. We had one of their insured total our car and it has been an absolute nightmare despite the police, our insurance labeling it their fault as well as their insured admitting it was his fault. We could not contact them for two weeks, only by contacting our insurance company were we able to get a claims adjuster assigned by Bristol west. All they want to do is wait, wait, wait on getting anything done. They don't want to pay out and it seems they want to charge high rates. No customer service, what are you paying for?? Unless this is your absolute last itinerary, steer clear of this awful company. I will be very vocal in my response on reviews to as many places as I can due to the treatment.

I was rear ended by a policy holder that that insurance with this company. I have elected to not use my policy as in the police report the policyholder was at fault. I have tried to connect with this company since 11/20/20. I have 8 calls in, I have tried to reach the claims adjuster supervisor (out of the Sanford, FL area) and NO ONE will return my calls. I was on hold for more than 15 minutes on their 1-800 line just to reach a voice. TERRIBLE! I really wanted to keep this out of the justice system, not sure if that is going to happen.
This is quite honestly the worst place you could seek insurance from. A few of my agents I spoke with Bridgette D. And Kyle I. and they gave me little to no information regarding my insurance policy. On top of that they increased my rates without informing me. I decided to seek insurance elsewhere and it was never communicated that there is a fee for that so they are now charging me $50 to cancel the insurance which after speaking to another representative is not refundable even after I communicated the dishonesty I had experienced with Bridgette Duffy and Kyle Ingenthron. Very disappointed and I wouldn’t ever recommend this company not even to my worst enemy. I wish I could give 0 stars. Good luck!

This is worst insurance company I have ever deal with. They go by 3 different name. Coast international insurance, foremost insurance and bristal west insurance. I was insured with them a year ago and my car was hit and run in my driveway. I call the police got police report and made a claim. The damage was estimated $ over $4,000 but they refused to pay out. They only estimate $1700 write me a check of $700 since my deductible was 1,000. Make matter worst; I just happen to find out they put on my record that they reported the accident was moving collision which is the reason why I have been getting higher insurance rate. They ruined my insurance credit filed. I’m going to go after them and hold accountable for all the money I pay for the last 24 months. I will not stop even if it means to hire a lawyer. My advice to anyone who have issue with these rats please make them accountable for their actions and let’s move forward to sue these greedy gorila.

This company and probably most car insurance companies do NOT have any programs to assist people/families during financial hardships, its ridiculous and very unfortunate! They will take your money even when you are homeless due to layoffs during this crisis we are all facing currently. AND, I was NOT able to make a payment online because Bristol West does not have an option to split your payment method. A family member was helping me pay for half, I had to call in my payment and to top it off Bristol West charges a $6 convenience fee for that which is absolutely absurd! It's not my fault their money hungry company does not offer different payment options online to make things easier for customers. Thanks for nothing Bristol West, you're not helping people/families you're robbing us and laughing all the way to your bank!
This is absolutely the WORST insurance company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Their rates are terrible and their "customer service" is even worse and deserves ZERO stars (Especially Jocelyn in CA- someone fire this agent already!) They will mail your bill ten days before it's due to an incorrect address and then leave you harassing texts and voicemails out of the blue saying they canceled your insurance. If you explain that this is their error, "customer service" will tell you that not only has your rate now randomly gone up, but that you are now subject to MORE fees because your claim was wrongfully canceled. If you ask to speak with their manager you will never get a call back. This situation happened to me last year, I gave them my proper address but they did not update my account information ("customer service" is completely inadequate) and now they are blaming me again for not receiving my bill. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY- DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR MONEY!
This company is horrible. I purchesd a policy with them because I had to have insurance for my vehicle that I was fixing up in order to keep it on the property. I got a rate and they asked me for additional documents to keep the rate, they said the documents were fine and then increase my rate by $100. I canceled my policy on Friday and then the new rate was drafted the following Tuesday. When I called they informed that the agent I spoke to and had told me that I would not get charged was wrong. They would now have to send me a refund by mail because they cannot electronically refund anything to a canceled account. I waited for me refund. After a week and a half I called back to ask why I hadn't received it. I was just it was sent out and $100 less than than what I was told because it was a prorated amount and that Florida law only allows a 90% refund. The financial impact that this had on me is unbelievable after just fled an abusive relationship with barely anything to me and my kids names. If I could give them less than 1 star I would.
I work for an insurance agency that sells bristol west. They are impossible to work with. If you make a change, you cannot make another change for at least 24 hours. I feel awful signing people up with this company and try to advise them not to do it. Just want to get the word out. DONT DO IT.
