Erie offers a unique Rate Lock feature for their auto insurance policy holders. Rate Lock can help you avoid premium rate hikes even if you have a claim. You’ll pay the same premium year after year until you make certain changes to your policy, such as adding or removing a vehicle or a driver or changing your primary residence.

Erie car insurance customers can also take advantage of their accident forgiveness program, which guarantees customers for 3 years or more will have no surcharge the first time they get into an at-fault accident. 

On top of this, Erie offers diminishing deductibles. Your deductible cost will go down $100 every year you remain claim free. This offer is good up to $500.

Never had to use the service except pay my bill (I am accident free). Monthly payment is kind of high.
