A-1 in customer service. Someone is there in 2 days to look at the damaged car. The damage is always restored to its original condition. Their policy prices can't be beat.

They cancel your policy if you don't make a 'welcome call', which I've never had to do with any other insurance I've had. They did not make it seem like a mandatory thing, and I work long hours, so it's difficult for me to call. I missed one payment due to the current economic situation, and even after paying both the missed payment and late fees, they are now continuously charging me double each month. This is terrible!

High rates, bad service

I had to argue with them about a claim.

I gave them zero stars. I paid them the full amount due for the year on my home insurance. After spending over an hour of my time on the phone, I agreed to bring my car insurance over to them at the end of the month for a discount. I had agreed to pay both car and home in full on the due dates I agreed upon. Both paid policies were paid in full from my bank account scheduled for specific dates. They debited my bank account the next day and then three weeks later, they decided to change the amount of my home insurance policy and increased the amount by another $700. They debited my bank account another $354 and notified me it will be another $354 next month. I don't know who they think they are, changing a policy amount agreed upon and paid in full that day, and then coming back three weeks later to increase the amount and feel free to charge my account automatically without my authorization or knowledge until after they have done it. Needless to say, they were cancelled immediately and now I'm waiting 3-4 weeks for the return of my money. I'm going to be reporting this behavior to the state banking commissioner, as well as the state insurance commissioner. They are nothing but dishonest.

They put me through too much trouble trying to prove I had insurance with another company before I joined them. It seemed like nothing I provided was good enough, even though it clearly stated I had insurance. It's crazy that a person has to go through all of that to prove they had insurance. On top of that, different people kept telling me different things I needed, and when I got it, they said I needed something else. That's just too much for a person to do, especially when I don't even have the car anymore. However, I will say this: if it wasn't for all of that, I really liked their insurance. It was very affordable. But being dropped like that over trying to prove if I had insurance was a bit too much. They knew I had it; I gave them that along with other paperwork. But it's okay, I found someone else who is just as affordable.

Nothing happened for six weeks. Eventually, the case went into subrogation, but even three months later, I still haven't received reimbursement for my deductible.

You misled me by raising my rate when other companies were lowering theirs.

They were very responsive for the two claims that we had, which were hail damage to the roof and water damage from a malfunctioning washing machine. So, high marks for that. However, they dropped our coverage because we had two claims in two years. What is insurance for if you can’t use it? Very low marks for that. By the way, we've had three total insurance claims in 40 years of home ownership.

The policy they sent for next year is double what we paid last year!
