I was told 6 weeks ago that I had a refund coming when I switched from a homeowner's policy to a renter's policy. I never received the check. Look, we were dropped because we filed three claims and used roadside service in the same year. We have had State Farm for a very long time and I’ve never really had to use it until this past year. Not only have our rates increased, but we were dropped for accidents that we were not at fault for. Very disappointed in customer service. Terribly disappointed after State Farm coverage for 60 years. House and lanai roofs damaged from Milton. State Farm wanted to replace only half the lanai roof, although it wouldn't match the remaining half that wasn't blown off. They wanted to replace 20 shingles on a 20-year-old roof, although the same shingle was no longer available and wouldn't match. State Farm's total estimated damage for roofs and other damage was so low it was less than the deductible. Not one dollar paid! Unacceptable for a $5100/year policy.
