I have a good working relationship with my insurance reps. I just wish the prices were a bit more affordable.

Very good customer support and discounts.

Pretty good, but I'm not sure about the at-fault policy. The other person never had to pay when I was hit from behind at a stop sign.

I've been with State Farm for a long time. Cheryl Beckert was great, but she retired. She was my agent for years. Prices kept going up. I had both my house and two vehicles covered. Agent Karen was hard to contact. One girl in the office always tried to help me and would call me back. They suggested dropping medical coverage on me because I had Medicare, but the savings weren't worth it. I'm 80 and need insurance as soon as possible for one vehicle.

I am 74. I actually have an employee of the agency call when I have a premium due. I have a clean driving record. All of my vehicles have liability-only coverage and most have farm tags. It is not cheap. The online process to shop for insurance is daunting. What is real and what is BS? To disclose personal info to a bot or someone that cannot communicate clearly is downright scary. A high premium with State Farm is much safer and affords peace of mind.

They are amazing. I wish the policy we have wasn't so high. It could be more affordable for families.

My personal in-office experience could not have been better. However, the "Drive Safe and Save" program is confusing and difficult for multiple vehicles. We have three drivers on our policy; my wife and I both drive two of the vehicles, and our son drives one solely. Our discount is set to be discontinued because two of the vehicles are not registered, yet I have found no way to register myself on two vehicles, and our son is unable to open the app. This is not easy to navigate, especially when the responses and instructions from my local office are different from what I'm told on the phone. I will be in my agent’s office next week to try and make some sense of this situation.

Haven't had any claims to date. I get a good response from the agent when I have questions. However, the agent would not match the car insurance start date with the start date of the homeowner's insurance.

Local customer service varies depending on who answers the phone. I think our vehicle insurance is too high, so I’m looking at other insurers. Our claim after a severe storm was handled quickly and without issues. Payment was quick. For that, they would get 10 stars.

I dropped coverage on one of my cars, and they tripled my rate for my other car. This was on top of their already higher-than-average costs for everyone. This was due to 2 deer incidents and a fender bender over 8 years. Let me see... It is disappointing. Don't use your insurance, even when your local agent tells you it is fine, because it is definitely not fine.

If you rely on them, even though you're paying your premium, just a heads up: you can only get one incident tow. You pay them every month for towing, but they have a lot of flaws.

It's okay. I'm trying to get more of a discount with my driving record, but they keep telling me I already have all the discounts they can offer. I have 2 cars and a motorcycle plus renters insurance. You can't drive all vehicles at the same time, so where is the discount when 2 of your vehicles are sitting idle and not being used? I have an excellent driving record, no DUIs, no tickets, and no accidents, yet they still can't offer me a discount. They were trying to start charging me over $200 a month, $205 to be exact. For a few months, I kept asking them these questions about why I am paying so much, but no definite answer. All they kept saying is that is the nation's standard. All of a sudden, my bill drops down to $189.91 per month. Not much of a drop, but no explanation for the drop. When I asked if it can go lower, they say that's the lowest unless I change my deductible. So why am I still paying a high rate when other ads are showing you can pay as little as $39 a month for the same type of coverage I have? I have been with State Farm for about 6 years. Before that, I had Allstate, and they basically gave the same runaround on quotes. I keep it so I have coverage, and it gets very tedious trying to search for the lowest rate when all of the other companies keep asking you the same questions to get your policy started. I fill all the info out, but when the comparison quotes start rolling in, what type of car, do you want to add another car, I try inputting info for my motorcycle, it doesn't let me. So where is the easy part from signing up online? It is very, very, very frustrating.

State Farm insurance has no loyalty to customers who have been with them for over 20 years, have low daily mileage, and are safe drivers. They charge too much for good drivers. I have a 2005 Toyota Avalon Limited with 104,725 miles, and I drive less than 10 miles a day. For full coverage for 6 months, they charge me $1,165.00. That's too much. I'm looking for another insurance company ASAP. It's a rip-off, and I'm very disappointed as a loyal customer.

I was driving down the road and someone changed lanes and hit me. State Farm made me pay out of pocket to repair my vehicle if I wanted it back soon, or they said I could wait and they would collect from the other insurance company. They never collected a dime, so all costs minus the deductible were out of my own pocket. Very discouraging, considering the fact that I've been with them for several years.

I would find a cheaper alternative like Geico. As soon as you have one mess up, even though you have been with them for more than twenty years, they will raise your prices. It's at the point where Geico is $150.00 a month cheaper.

I would tell a friend to look around. The problem I have is I can’t insure my travel van because it went triple what I’m paying for my car, and I do not drive the van every week.

I was told it would be less expensive than my current coverage, but the quote was $400 more!
