They wanted to replace 20 shingles on a 20-year-old roof, although the same shingle was no longer available and wouldn't match. I am upset with the pricing, the quote, and how my insurance has increased despite promises that it would go down. I've had billing problems, and all the quotes I have gotten from other insurance companies always manage to give me a higher rate because of a statement and quote from State Farm. Every quote I tried to get, where it says lower insurance rates for no DWIs in the state of Texas and good credit, still results in higher policies than State Farm. I do not understand why I am still paying a high insurance rate with no DWIs, no tickets, no accidents, and over 15 years of good standing. I am even over 65 and on a low income, but I do not understand why, when all the advertising promises low insurance rates for no DWIs and senior services. That is why I gave them a low rating. All the phone calls I have been getting say the same thing: higher rates, despite advertising low rates. There's nothing I can do about it but keep taking phone calls. I have no choice but to stay with State Farm because all the insurance quotes I have gotten have been at least $10 to $20 more for the same coverage, even though this insurance said low rate. That is why I tried for it, but it only came back the same or more than what I was getting from State Farm.

Now I sit with a fairly new vehicle that will never run again due to parts that will never be manufactured again. Apparently, my full coverage doesn’t cover catastrophic explosions of faulty parts of the engine, nor what I have been suffering physically as a result of that incident that occurred while driving on the Turnpike at 65 mph with absolutely no warning signs, nor did my DIC (Dashboard Information Center) indicate that the vehicle was having major problems to warn me to get it to the dealership ASAP! Yes, I’m still with State Farm because I’m stuck with them until someone helps me with what, who, and where to go, as the car is still in a lien mode that was supposed to be paid in full in 2022. I’m afraid that I won’t get approved by any other insurance company with this situation that happened on Friday, April 7, 2023, and State Farm is still taking those monthly payments to this very day.
