Love the company. I have had only Progressive for my last vehicles over many years. I would tell a friend the best way to go with this company is 6 months at a time. You can unlock discounts faster, but if you slip on monthly payments, you start over on your discount cycle. Forget Snapshot; it doesn't send good information in rural areas like where I live in the Okefenokee Swamp, and Snapshot was not accurate at all. This can end up costing you in the long run.

However, after calling Progressive, they quickly agreed that we had satisfied their concerns adequately and that our cancellation would be retracted. We had wonderful coverage with Progressive, paying $489 for six months. My 46-year-old son backed into another parked car when he tried to leave the establishment late at night. It was 11 pm, the other car was black, and he did not see it. It was parallel parking. He checked the other car and saw no damage (but he didn't take pictures of it). The driver of the black car could not be found. However, they submitted a claim for $3,559. This was a parking accident, not a moving violation, and our rate is now $1,039 for six months and will remain that for three years! My son has not had a moving violation for 30 years, but this slow backing up has cost us plenty. Thank you for asking.
