Despite having no accidents and no traffic citations, my insurance costs keep climbing. As a senior citizen with a good driving record and someone who does not violate traffic laws, it is unfair that my rates are what I consider high for a fixed income, and rates that increase periodically. There should be a discount for seniors with a clean driving record. This would be fair and good for business.

Progressive lied about the rate, trying to get people who don’t even have driver’s licenses onto the policy. I had to submit tons of paperwork to verify things. I was the only driver in the house, and then when I filed an accident claim, they didn’t believe I was the driver of the vehicle. I’m still in litigation over that. I’m the only licensed driver out of seven people in the household. They take your money, but when it’s time to pay out for a claim, it turns into a totally different story.
