Good rates and service.

I am pleased with my car rate. In the past, I’ve paid much more. I am also happy about the roadside service that is offered.

I have had Geico for over 30 years. I took a break once to save money and immediately regretted it and went right back. They are worth the money for the customer service alone.

I love their prices. I have full coverage on a 2002 Chevrolet Z28 Camaro and a 2006 Ford Econoline van. A price nobody can beat: $117.00 per month. It has a few exclusions, like hospital coverage, but I got roadside help. They are well built. It would take a boulder to crush them. No boulders in Georgia.

Mostly very good. I was taken by surprise by the "Roadside Assistance" rider on my policy that allowed only 3 assistance calls before the cost came out of my pocket. Firstly, no one told me about that little detail, and secondly, they actually left me stranded! I was angry and hurt. I have been with GEICO for many years.

Geico is very expensive. Had I known that my claim would double my insurance rate, I would have paid cash to repair the damages.

I've been with them for over 30 years. No points, excellent driving record. My truck gets older, and I expected the coverage price to go down, but it just goes up. I'm ready to change, but old habits die hard.

I could have gotten a better price with Allstate, but I have been with Geico for some time now, so I stuck with them. Geico won't cut anyone a decent deal unless the person complains a lot, and I didn't do that!

Make sure if you add a car to check and see if they automatically turn on roadside assistance or anything else.

My tip is if car insurance were lower, the insurance companies would have more customers, which would equal more money for the companies. Good company but above average cost-wise.

GEICO, when I contacted them directly and not through an online rate quote service, was very well priced—considerably lower than other offers and included uninsured/underinsured coverage where others had not. I was so impressed with the rates and the full explanation I was given about the policy that I paid in full.

I always put GEICO down because of the commercials and the one time 20 years ago I tried to get insurance from them, they were so much more than what I was paying. I figured, okay, it couldn't hurt to check them again; it's been 20 years and my current insurance was ridiculous in price. I checked with GEICO and I seriously thought this was a misprint. I checked and checked again, and they saved me $630 for 6 months over what I was paying before. The amount I save in a year is almost the amount I was paying for 6 months with my old insurance. I am so glad I got over myself and decided to keep an open mind. Thank you, GEICO.

Go with Geico because they are the lowest priced.

We have had Geico now for over 10 years and have been pleased with the overall service, but unless our kids went off our insurance policy, our rates never went down, no matter what additional discounts we added on. Now we are down to three people and are still paying close to $750/month, so we started to get quotes for a better rate since longevity or loyalty does not get us any perks.

Geico dropped us because we filed a claim on a weather-related incident. They didn't give us any notice that they were canceling our coverage. I found out about it two weeks after they canceled.

I need the annual cost to be lower.

I was with Geico for years and everything was fine until I had my first accident. I appealed because it wasn't my fault and I won! Geico owed me money back, but they didn't calculate it correctly on purpose. If I lose trust and respect, I don't want to be with that company.

The rates increased significantly after nearly a decade of being insured. I found a much better rate elsewhere.

When it's time for a claim to be paid, they perform poorly. There's no communication and they are not on your side. They negotiate low prices with the body shop.

Expect an unreasonable rate increase after the first term (no tickets, no accidents, no claims).

Geico removed me from the policy after 25 years with them due to two consecutive accidents that were not my fault.
