They made it easy to make a claim. However, they are too expensive.

Personally, I loved Geico for the service we received from them. My only complaint was that it did not matter what changes occurred in our lives, such as children aging out and off insurance, our insurance never went down by much in our monthly payment, and both my husband and I are senior age. When I asked for a lower rate, they said that it was not possible, so now we need to find another insurance provider.

Do everything online. Representatives have different answers to the same question.

It is better than most others out there, but they could do better for people that rarely use their car, barely 20 miles a week if that. Look and compare. If they go higher, we will look elsewhere.

Had many options to choose from. You have the ability to choose the options you can afford.

They give good drivers no benefits whatsoever. People with no accidents and no tickets pay the same as a person with tickets or accidents.

They are too expensive, and if you're late making a payment, they threaten to drop you.

We were with GEICO for 25 years, had 3 minor accidents with no injuries, and the repairs were minimal. They raised our rates astronomically, and no one cared to assist us despite our 25 years of loyalty. Go with Progressive; they have accident forgiveness.

It took over 3 weeks to get a repair estimate, then another 3 weeks for the repairs. A poor experience overall.

Premiums started competitive, but prices have gone up quickly and are no longer competitive. We will be shopping.

My experience with GEICO was fair, but after going through the whole year with a positive driving record, the new policy they offered me was more than $100 more than the previous 6 months. The fact that I live in the city and only drove maybe 5 miles a week made the renewal quote even more disappointing, which soured me on doing any more business with them.

You need to do something about your app. I cannot log in to get my discounts, and I am very dissatisfied with that part of your service. Other than that, everything is good. I'm still unable to access the app.

Exceptionally mediocre. My rates just went up again. At this point, paying for GEICO is more than a car payment would be. It’s a crappy car that shouldn’t be expensive to insure. I pay for everything out of pocket anyway because I’m paranoid that if I don’t, I’ll be penalized by the insurance company. How much sense does that make? I’m paying for repairs on my own because the thing I’m paying for already at $500 per month would go up even more. The thing that makes me dislike GEICO is that even if I repair my car out of pocket and continue paying the high premium, my rates still go up by $150. I can’t afford other stuff because I’m paying for insurance that I literally never use.

They have the worst automated help line! It's extremely difficult, and the system refuses to connect you to a human! I called on Friday to get a copy of my policy and didn't receive the email or the link until Saturday and early Sunday morning! I dislike dealing with the automated system!

They started out good, with monthly insurance payments. But they just sent me a renewal for 6 more months, and they raised my monthly payment by around $16. I haven't had any tickets or accidents that were my fault, so I will be going somewhere else.

I am being overcharged for car insurance, paying $243 a month for full coverage despite having been driving for over 20 years. In the last 4 or 5 years with Geico, I have had no accidents or tickets, yet instead of my car insurance decreasing for being a safe driver, it has increased from $150 to $190 and now $243. It just doesn't make any sense, and I would advise people not to get car insurance through Geico.

They somehow removed my cell phone from the drive tracking app, then wanted to increase my rates considerably because of it. I tried several times with customer service to get the problem remedied, but they were useless.

I have been with Geico for 29 years. A lady backed into my little Elantra while I was sitting still at a Walgreens drive-thru. She was driving a Pilot SUV. She crumpled my hood, but she had no damage. No one was hurt. While she and a child were playing in the parking lot waiting for the officer to arrive, I took pictures and tried talking with her. She put her hand in my face without saying a word. I thought this woman was going to be trouble. It became clear very fast that this accident was a setup. A black truck came out of nowhere, and he was her witness. He was not on the scene at all. There were no tickets issued. Geico turned down the claim, and I was found not at fault. She sued Geico and got a settlement for $32,000. Four years and six months later, I'm still upset. This was a terrible injustice, and I am still paying an unfair amount for car insurance. The morning I was to give a deposition, I got a call from the court saying a settlement had been made!

Terrible. They cut my insurance off because they emailed me asking for documents to prove that someone did not drive my car. I am 65 and since retired, I don't check my emails regularly. There was no contact by mail or phone. I was driving around with no insurance and didn't know it. The person they needed information on lives three and a half hours away and owns the house I live in.

Love the insurance company. A great rate for someone who has never had a ticket or accident. Downloaded the Geico mobile app but have not been able to use it once. It constantly says the password is invalid. I reset it three times and called twice to speak with a representative. They said they would send me a link to reset it, but it still says it is an invalid password. Very frustrating, and I don't know how much longer I will be with you guys. My payment comes out automatically every single month, and I've never missed one.
