I love their prices. I have full coverage on a 2002 Chevrolet Z28 Camaro and a 2006 Ford Econoline van. A price nobody can beat: $117.00 per month. It has a few exclusions, like hospital coverage, but I got roadside help. They are well built. It would take a boulder to crush them. No boulders in Georgia.

Mostly very good. I was taken by surprise by the "Roadside Assistance" rider on my policy that allowed only 3 assistance calls before the cost came out of my pocket. Firstly, no one told me about that little detail, and secondly, they actually left me stranded! I was angry and hurt. I have been with GEICO for many years.

Geico is very expensive. Had I known that my claim would double my insurance rate, I would have paid cash to repair the damages.

GEICO, when I contacted them directly and not through an online rate quote service, was very well priced—considerably lower than other offers and included uninsured/underinsured coverage where others had not. I was so impressed with the rates and the full explanation I was given about the policy that I paid in full.

I've needed a way to reduce my rates. I realize I've had two speeding tickets, but there has not been any communication on my issues or what I need to do. They want money, that's all.

Don't use Geico. Their rates are not affordable, and every month the amount is different, usually higher.

After 11 years with the company, they punish customers for reporting a claim, but they never paid for the claim because I paid with my own money. Even when I paid, they still used the report to increase my premiums. That's why I canceled my 11-year auto insurance and my house policy too.

I just canceled because State Farm is $38 a month less expensive for auto and $5 less for renters. You guys should be aware of this.

Terrible, you guys ripped me off for 3 years. I got rates for half of what you charged me. And at the end, you sent me a letter saying that it's going up by 11 dollars. I'm a driver that rarely uses the car, never had a ticket or accident, or any problems at all, and always paid my payment on time. To top it off, I called you after I obtained new insurance with another company. The person on the phone stated that I need to continue to pay my payments for the next 6 months no matter what. This is ridiculous. If I don't receive my prorated balance of my last payment I just paid to GEICO auto insurance, I will make this public. Goodbye!

Absolutely horrible. I signed up for a policy, paid, and got my policy active. Terrific. However, 9 days in, I had to file a claim because I backed into a guardrail. That was my mistake. After filing the claim and getting it approved, Geico decided to either cancel my policy or triple my premium. They cited an elevated risk as the reason. I found it shady that they could just unilaterally pull the rug out from under me just for filing a claim.

If you have other options, I'd recommend considering them. Geico seems to cater to people who can't find regular insurance. I'm not sure how I ended up with this company. They initially lure you in with low insurance rates. I started at $85/month and am now paying $228 a few years later for a car that has numerous safety features. I have no accidents or tickets in over 50 years, no DUIs, and I drive less than 5,000 miles a year. They don't seem to take any of that into consideration. It appears that they base your insurance on the rest of the state and how many accidents, tickets, or claims they have. It doesn't seem to matter if you're a great driver. It's frustrating that the insurance rates of responsible drivers are affected by those who cause accidents or get tickets. I can't think of any positives about this company.

They're a good company if you have plenty of money. They don't offer any discounts or breaks. When you file a claim, it takes them forever to process it. They tend to ignore big claims altogether. They don't give you enough money back on your claim to repair what you have damaged. They always opt for the cheapest route.

If you're searching for more affordable insurance coverage, don't be fooled by GEICO's ads. Their rates are not as affordable as they used to be. It was a pretty good insurance company years ago. However, after Warren Buffet purchased the company, it has become nothing but a profit-driven business. They don't seem to care about your safe driving record or loyalty of 8 years.

Their customer service is awful. They're rude and difficult to deal with. They overcharged me for months, claiming I lived in NJ when I didn't, in an attempt to get higher rates. Every few months, they required me to send photos of my cars, bank statements, credit card statements, and copies of my vehicle registrations. The rates are significantly high compared to other providers, even with a clean driving record for over 20 years. Despite being hit in a parking lot and initially being told I was not at fault, they later changed their decision and charged both parties involved. Following this incident, my rates increased to the point where they were as high as my car payment.
