Having to pay for two months upfront to renew, despite being a customer for over five years, seems unreasonable to me. Additionally, the requirement to upload six photos of your vehicle(s), a copy of your driver's license, vehicle registration, and purchase contract is the final straw.

My vehicle was declared a total loss by my insurance company. They initially offered me $1400 for my van, which was not nearly enough. I was referred to Justin at The Body Shop Appraiser and he was able to negotiate my insurance company up to $6800 for my van. Now, I will be able to find another vehicle. With $1400, I wouldn't have been able to. I highly recommend The Body Shop Appraiser if you have a total loss. The insurance company seemed to be taking advantage and oppressing people. Even after agreeing to the increased amount, they wanted to deduct costs like storage and towing. This company doesn't even deserve a single star. It makes me wonder what the insurance board is doing about such companies. You can draw your own conclusions based on my experience.

I was a MetLife customer until they were acquired by Farmers. Since the takeover, Farmers has increased my rates twice. My monthly payment used to be around $60, but now it's $89 for the same coverage. Despite having an almost flawless driving record with no moving violations in over 20 years, and only two tickets since 1980, it seems being an older driver with a good record doesn't count for much.
