I would recommend this service to a friend or another service member, but it didn't do much for us except charge a lot of money. I've been driving since I was 16 years old. My car broke down about a year ago and I thought there was no need to have insurance. That's what they're basing their rates on and it's quite expensive.

They unexpectedly closed my account when I reported unauthorized activity. They said I could keep my insurance with them, but couldn't continue banking. It seems unfair that they are happy to take my hard-earned money for insurance, but don't provide a secure place for me to keep my money. I wouldn't recommend banking with them; consider Navy Federal instead.

I was with them for over a year. Every phone call I ever made to them took well over an hour. Their customer service representatives are rude. Even when I had a claim, they put it under his insurance and then denied the claim because he told them he hadn't been involved in an accident. After I called to rectify the situation, they denied the claim anyway, even though they made the mistake. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Keep shopping for auto insurance. The current prices are ridiculously high and are getting higher for absolutely no reason. As a 30-year customer who has never had an accident or a claim of any sort, I find this unreasonable!

There's a trust factor, especially for senior citizens who are on a very low fixed income. You would expect that the rate you set for them would last at least for a 6-month policy period, not change every 90 days. There's absolutely nothing left after all monthly bills are met.

They increased my car insurance by $180 a month without any reason. Moreover, they charged me over $100 for canceling just 5 days after I refused to pay the new amount, which was $620 a month for 2 vehicles. This is not an appropriate way to treat disabled veterans.
