I signed a contract with them and a week later, I received a letter saying my insurance was cancelled, which also cancelled my tag. There was no explanation provided. When I called them, they said there was a mistake in my contract. They cancelled my contract, wrote up another one without my permission, and raised my premium by $98. They tried to make it seem like it was all my fault. Boo, Nationwide! Shame on you.

There's an appalling disconnect between the field and home offices, with the home usually lagging two weeks behind events in the field. This causes ongoing billing errors which NW does not acknowledge.

After I had a serious accident, the amount I received for my totaled car was so low that there was no way to get a comparable car. I understand deductions for mileage and so on, but when a top-of-the-line model can't even equate to a bottom-of-the-line model in an older model, something is wrong.
