We had an accident, and no claim adjuster ever showed up or took our situation seriously. I paid $220 down, and my first payment was going to be due 2 weeks later. I called back and was finally able to get someone to combine my policies if I paid another $220 down payment, and my monthly payments would go up $80 more than I was paying for the two separate policies added together. I canceled my policies that day, and they kept the original down payment from the day before. So, 1 day of liability insurance cost me $220. I went with someone different, and my policy for both said vehicles costs less than half of what I was paying with The General.
