I have two policies. Each reflects the account number, but neither shows the dwelling address that these policies cover. I mean, this data is in your system, so why not add the information? Now I need to look, etc. to determine what I paid for.

When an employee stays with a company that long, it only tells you how great Safeco must be to work for. I have never had any issues or problems that they haven't taken care of right away. I love Safeco.

Car Insurance Seems Unfair
Most insurance companies are raising the rates every year, regardless of whether your record is clear or you've had accidents or tickets. Every company I've been with throughout my 60 years has increased my policy annually! I'm retired and drive maybe 10,000 miles a year. My wife is also retired and drives perhaps 5,000 miles a year. Despite this, we still can't get a good rate. Of course, we want full coverage because we can't afford to lose what we have due to the reckless drivers out there!

Don't Choose Safeco
Someone reported an accident where they hit me. Safeco did not conduct a thorough investigation, they just paid it and raised my rate. This happened another time too. If they had used the footage from the storefront, they would have known this was a scam. Yet again, Safeco did not investigate and I received a point. Additionally, my roof leaked twice and resulted in mold. Safeco dismissed my claim twice. I am disappointed in this company and would recommend choosing a different one.

I'm on a fixed income. My mortgage just increased by $200 due to homeowners insurance with Safeco. The cost of electricity and utilities are also up, but my income isn't. I am now short by over $500 every month. I'm not ready to move into a senior living facility. It would be great if you could lower the price for my home and auto insurance. I've been a loyal customer for 14 years. The rising costs are putting me in a tough spot. Moving into a smaller place isn't a viable option in my area. My last option would be skid row, but I'm too old for that. Unfortunately, I can't give you an A for affordability.

We had a wonderful policy as two seniors on a fixed budget because it was affordable. However, when it came time to renew for another year, our rates were raised by over $500. Absolutely nothing has changed on our driving record, except for us being one year older. It appears to us that seniors with impeccable records are also punished and lumped in with the irresponsible drivers on today's roads.

It was a terrible experience. I spent two days trying to add my new vehicle to my policy, but I couldn't get anyone at the agent's company to answer the phone. Safeco wouldn't make any changes to my policy without going through the agent. I ended up canceling my policy and going with another company so I could get it insured.

My experience with Safeco was horrible. I had made a claim and was told by the agent that I would have an option to pay it myself or have Safeco cover it. However, I was never given this option and then my rate was raised because of it. When I inquired about it, I received the run around. The customer service was very poor.
