They have handled my account as expected. I've really only had to use them twice. Once to have my tire changed and once when I was in an accident and it was my fault. They handled the entire claims process from start to finish and all I did was pay my deductible. However, they did increase my premium by almost twice what I was paying before. It went from $92/mo. to $228/mo.

I have insurance with them for California and called to get a quote for my upcoming move to Las Vegas, Nevada. They gave me a quote that was three times what I am currently paying. So, I am looking elsewhere. I have found some better quotes with other auto insurance companies. It's pretty frustrating since I have no tickets, no accidents, and have set up automatic payments!

I don't like their DriveSense app. It does not accurately record your driving, especially when it comes to braking. There are times when you are forced to brake because of other careless drivers, but the app has no way of measuring that. So, it records it as hard braking, and it goes against you.

You shouldn't raise someone's insurance that much without notifying them. I had Sheila Taylor's insurance company send me a record stating that there were no accidents, no reasons to raise my insurance. I had no wrecks, no speeding tickets, nothing. I don't have to put up with that. There are too many companies out there looking for loyal customers.

It's utterly absurd that two individuals with clean driving records, living in the countryside, and driving vehicles that are 11 and 8 years old respectively, should pay the rates we do. Esurance doesn't seem to listen. I complained to them when they sent a tow service whose owner was rude to me over the phone, and the next time I needed roadside assistance, they tried to send the same service. I ended up paying for the tow myself.

The premium increases every 6 months, even with a clean driving record. It started with a few dollars, but the next time it increased by approximately $20. They are charging over $400 for six months of liability coverage (50k/100k/50k + uninsured motorist BI) on a 1990 Ford F150. Despite claiming to be a modern company, it's surprising that I have to call a 1-800 number and go through a lengthy process just to cancel a policy before it renews. Esurance's marketing campaign, featuring Dennis Quaid, seems to have led to increased premiums for customers. It seems they've moved away from their initial promise of passing savings onto the customer. Now, they resemble the larger companies they once criticized. I'm switching from Esurance to Allstate.
