There's no loyalty in terms of lower rates.

There's no particular reason, but every time my policy renews, it always costs more. For instance, last April and May, I received a couple of $20 refunds, which was nice. However, when my policy was renewed in October, they raised my policy by $50 for no apparent reason.

I got into an accident and it took them over 45 days to even look at my claim. Then, after 2 months, they denied my claim and wouldn't return my call.

Everything about it is unpleasant. The rates are way too high and the cancellation fee is just outrageous! I would not recommend it to anyone. The fact that it's not a very popular insurance company and yet charges as much as it does is ridiculous!

I've been with them for a trip and was supposed to get a DriveSense discount. They claimed they gave it to me, but I'm good at math and I know they didn't. They're also very poor at handling claims and refunding money. I had to come fully out of pocket over my deductible.

Timely in resolving a no-fault claim.

The cost and coverage were good. However, the technology aspect is a bit sketchy. You can remove drives that are not good, but they are still reflected in the score. The initial premium discount gets recalculated as the premium increases.

They have been neglecting my comprehensive claim since October.

They want to charge me for switching to a cheaper insurance provider. It's worth noting that they asked for $124 as a leaving fee. With their rate of $360 a month, I could cover four cars and trucks. I wouldn't recommend them as they don't seem to be helpful.

The insurance claim officer had me calling him for months to fill out the claim form for my vehicle to be repaired. I was left to call the other adjuster and do the legwork myself. I will never come back to Esurance.

The app does not track my trips, despite having checked all systems, reloaded the app, and followed all their suggestions. I keep getting notices that I have no trip for the last 7 days, yet my phone shows 4 trips still calculating. Sometimes, it does not track the trips at all. When I put my phone on 'do not disturb', it tells me I have distracted driving.

The website is hard to use.

They keep raising prices twice a year at every renewal period by at least $40. We are already struggling during this pandemic, so my rate has been raised six times since 2019.

As stated before, the app is very inefficient. It does not record all driving events. The customer service associates who assist you after an accident are less than helpful. It's not worth the trouble to stay. I left for another company that is better equipped.
