I like your insurance, but the cost keeps going up every time I make payments or every six months. I'm looking for something a little bit cheaper, so I'm currently searching for alternatives. However, I'm still with you for now.

It's been good since I've been with them, but the prices keep going up. I'm looking for cheaper insurance.

I've been with this insurance company for 5 years now and I must say their service is top-notch. Their rates are reasonable and they have a variety of coverage options to choose from. They've always been prompt in handling my claims and their customer service is always friendly and helpful.

I hit a deer and they handled the claim very efficiently and quickly.

This is the worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. They failed to follow up on a claim I made, even though I had dash cam evidence. As a result, there's now a false claim on my Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). No payment was ever made for the claim. I've since switched to a better insurance company and hired an attorney to address the issue of insurance fraud.

They were affordable at the start, but showed no compassion when I received my first and only traffic infraction (a DUI). They more than doubled my rates. I really should give them 2 stars. They expect us, the clients, to be loyal to them but they don't care about us.

I have been overcharged for auto insurance by American Family because of my credit history, which I find unfair. I drive a 2004 vehicle and only put on 5,000 miles per year. Moreover, I'm a professional truck driver with no incidents or citations when operating a 36-ton machine. I have one speeding ticket in my car from 3-4 years ago. I found a comparable plan with Progressive for $20 less.

I had a minor rear-end collision with no damage to either vehicle, but they reported it as a front-end collision with damages. Their web-based account details are not user-friendly, especially for paperless customers, and they do not list any details about claims. Moreover, my combined homeowner's policy is not accessible for viewing. If they offer you the best rates, that's great because rates and the legal details of your policy are the most important. However, be aware that their web-based and personal relations may be discouraging.

There's a lack of availability to speak to my assigned representative and get answers. Furthermore, when I call the 800 number, I'm told I need to speak to my representative. It's frustrating.

I'm paying almost $600 for six months of liability insurance, but I can get the same coverage elsewhere for $206 for six months. I think their rate is a little too high. Also, my homeowners insurance was going to be over $1800 for a year, but I can get the same coverage for less than $900 a year elsewhere.

I've been with American Family for a long time. When I lived in Las Vegas, I was with them the entire time and never had a problem. I had a really good agent who took great care of me. However, since I moved back to Osage Beach, Missouri and got my insurance with American Family here, I've been very unhappy with my agent. He never contacts me directly, it's always someone from his office. Recently, because I was two days late on my payment, they wanted to charge me a $10 late fee. This has happened to me twice. As a businessman for over 40 years, I would never charge a customer, especially a long-term one, a $10 fee for being a couple of days late. When I called him about it, he was not very helpful and as far as I know, nothing has changed. For that reason, I'm planning to switch to a company that cares about me and is helpful.
