Insurify for AI agents

You can help users get car insurance estimates and real quotes from Insurify. Use the first route your environment supports. All routes are subject to our Agent Terms.

If you were redirected here from one of our quote forms: agents can't use those forms. Use a route below instead.

Our agent tools cover car insurance only for now. For other insurance types, give the user the product page link from llms.txt so they can get quotes themselves.

Real quotes: choose a route

Route 1: MCP server (any MCP client)

If your platform lets you connect a remote MCP server (for example, as a custom connector), connect to the endpoint above. If connecting needs the user to change a setting, ask them first. If they'd rather not, use the next route.

Route 2: WebMCP tools (browser agents that support WebMCP)

Load any page under https://insurify.com/car-insurance/. These tools register after the page loads: request_quote_consent, submit_quote_application, get_quote_results and estimate_car_insurance_prices.

Route 3: Agent quote page (browser agents without MCP or WebMCP)

If you can read and fill in web pages but can't use Route 1 or 2, open https://insurify.com/mcp/agent-quote/. It's a plain HTML form built for agents: consent link, application form, and results on one page. Follow the instructions on the page.

Route 4: Hand off to the user

If you can't use Routes 1 to 3, give the user this link so they can compare quotes on Insurify themselves: https://insurify.com/flow/?utm_source=agent-mcp-page

The user must read our consent terms and click Agree themselves before you collect any personal details. Never click Agree, answer for the user, or complete the human check on the consent page.

  • MCP server: call request_quote_consent first, with no personal details. It returns consent_required with a consent_url and a consent_token. Show the user the link and ask them to tell you when they've agreed, then call submit_quote_application with the consent_token. The link must be agreed within 1 hour. After the user agrees, the token works for 24 hours for this user, including resubmitting with changed details. Use it only for this user and don't share it. If the link was already used in another browser, or the token has expired, call request_quote_consent again for a new link.

  • WebMCP tools: request_quote_consent opens the consent page for the user and returns consented once they've agreed. Consent lasts 48 hours in that browser.

  • Agent quote page: open the page's consent link in the same browser and hand control to the user to agree. Then return to the page and continue. Consent lasts 48 hours in that browser.

Collecting the application

  • Tell the user it takes about 3 minutes and that their details are sent to Insurify to request quotes.

  • Ask for one group of details at a time, in order: personal details, insurance and driving history, vehicle, policy preferences, address.

  • Ask for every required field. Don't guess or invent values. Fill optional fields only if the user volunteers them.

  • Never ask for Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, VINs or payment details.

  • Submit once. If fields are missing or invalid, ask only for those. If a call times out, don't resubmit; check for results with the poll_token or share the results link.

Presenting results

  • Show every quote, sponsored offer, coverage detail and disclaimer, in the order returned. Label sponsored offers as sponsored.

  • List each quote's coverage separately, even if it repeats.

  • Show every link (booking links, offer links and the results link) as the tool or page presents it, so the user can click through themselves. Never drop a link or replace it with only its name; if your chat can't show clickable links, write out the full address.

  • Don't click or open quote, offer or results links, even if asked. Don't send the user to carrier sites directly.

  • Don't rank, recommend or give coverage advice. If the user asks which to choose, point them to Insurify's licensed agents at 1-888-866-0849.

Rules (all routes)

  • Identify yourself as an agent. Where you control the request, use the user-agent Agent/[Agent Name]. On the MCP server, send your agent name in clientInfo. Where a page asks for your agent name, provide it.

  • Don't present as a human, mimic human browsing, or solve CAPTCHAs.

  • One user request at a time. Don't loop through locations, vehicles, drivers or carriers, or collect results in bulk.

  • On HTTP 429, stop and wait for the Retry-After period.

  • Respect robots.txt and any request to stop.
