They allowed a spouse to secretly remove the vehicle from the policy during a very contentious separation, and they did not notify the other spouse. I received a 24-hour notice last Thursday from my ex. The agent, Bud Smith, should never have allowed this to happen.

I started out with Bernie in Hayward, CA on Mission Blvd. I understand that your agents and offices keep moving as part of what's necessary to stay in business and make money. I even had rental insurance through your company for over 10 years. However, my rates keep going up. I have already found a new insurance company that I will start with at the end of my insurance term with your company in February 2019 because they offered me a better deal for the same exact coverage. I believe I was with your company for maybe 20 years. My bank even waived the $22 charge for ordering new checks and showed me how to use their online banking system on my tablet. As soon as I walk through the bank, they teasingly ask what help I need with my tablet today. That's good customer service. Thanks to Bernie, although I don't believe he is alive anymore, for giving me a little more personalized service than his successors. I have been with Mercury for at least 20 years, starting with Bernie on Mission Blvd in Hayward. He was one of the reasons why I chose Mercury Insurance. I even paid for renters insurance and received a discount for having two policies. I'm not sure who's receiving this response and where they live. I live in the Bay Area in California. It's expensive here, but it wasn't when I was born in Castro Valley, California, back in 1959. Every dollar counts to a lot of people, including me. Last year, I called my agent to ask why my insurance had gone up. They said it was just part of business and that I would also have to pay more. However, I found another company that would charge me $100 less every six months. What should I do?

When my vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run accident, Mercury refused to submit the $500, which the government stipulates I am due. I even sent a letter with signature required and still have not received a response. According to the law, when an insured vehicle is involved in a hit-and-run accident, they are due the deductible of $500.00. I have yet to respond to the St. Petersburg Police Department regarding Mercury's failure to reimburse me, but I will if I do not receive this overdue money.
