I'm being kind here. They deserve a score lower than zero. Their claims representative never answers her direct line or responds to my calls. Her supervisor is no better, only redirecting you to another adjuster. They need to make corrections to my claim, but they refuse to even accept my calls. Their customer service is extremely poor.

The customer service was horrible. I had to make several calls to try and clear up a billing issue that they caused. Each time, customer service told me that their system didn't show the repeated charges to my account and claimed I still had not paid the bill for that month. After showing them proof from my bank that it had been paid and they had been trying to collect a second payment for that month, they then charged me a late payment/returned payment fee for a payment I had already made.

I needed a towing service because my Nissan had broken down in the middle of the road. When I called my insurance, they didn't pick up the phone. It was a terrible experience. It was stressful enough breaking down and not having a ride back home, but my insurance not being available really made my day worse. I had to call a separate towing service and days later, I was able to file a claim, which I wasn't fully reimbursed for. Besides that, they have extra fees for just paying your bill, which makes no sense.

You incur a $10.00 late fee even if your policy is only one day late. In South Georgia, where I'm from, you can call and inform them that you'll be late, and they never charge a late fee. It's surprising how different it is in Colorado.

The state approved a 1.6% increase for auto insurance and a 3.4% increase for homeowners insurance in 2020. However, my combined increase was 14.75%, which was $314 more. Since I switched, my cost for auto and homeowners insurance has increased by $782, which is over a 43% increase. This far exceeds the cost of living and what the state insurance approved. I am now looking for a company that can execute their business model to take care of the customer instead of the shareholders.

I was stuck in a city six hours away from my home with an undrivable car. They said they wouldn't fix my car until an investigation was over. So, I hitched a ride home. Then, they ignored my calls for three weeks. When I threatened to complain about them, my broker reached out to the person handling my case, and they finally called back. We figured everything out, and I had my down payment ready to go. I drove to the car shop six hours away with my mom, only to find out they hadn't sent the whole amount they were supposed to. To say the least, I would never suggest Kemper insurance.

Initially, Camper was okay and had a decent price. However, as soon as I bought a car and told them I wanted to adjust my insurance to maintain full coverage, the representative I spoke with was indifferent. She simply stated 'it is what it is.' All I wanted was some help adjusting my insurance price because it was the same as my car note. So, what am I supposed to do? Switch?

The agent at the office I visit is too laid back. Sometimes, he's there attending phone calls, even when there's nobody in this ghost office, and I still need to wait. Plus, the quote I've been paying is kind of high. I haven't been working since I became disabled and the only money coming in is from SSI. That's why I've been looking to get a more fair quote that adjusts to my very low income.
