They are the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Their customer service is atrocious, by far the rudest staff I have ever spoken with. I'm telling you with all honesty, they can 100% not do their job and not care about it. They offered no compensation for them not doing their job. They took my money for 9 months and didn't do their job which was the simple task of reporting my SR-22 to DMV every month and they literally could not do that. I spoke with them three times, they said they would fix it every time. I got pulled over, I didn't have insurance in the law's eyes because they did not report me to DMV.

I'm not a policy holder, but my partner/spouse is a policy holder with Dairyland. I think the way they handle their financial end of things, particularly with monthly billing, could be improved. They don't seem to be very savvy in helping their customers save money on their policies. I know there are other car insurance companies out there that offer much lower monthly rates. Additionally, this company doesn't seem to comply very well with reporting to the DMV, as we keep receiving letters threatening to suspend our driver's license if we don't pay the premiums. However, we have been paying, as reflected in our bank statements. I believe Dairyland needs to listen more to their customers' needs and be clearer in their policy motives.

Well, where do I start? I needed a special insurance, FR44. I called to switch my non-owner policy to an auto policy and was quoted $1,149, which I paid right away. A week later, I received my premium in the mail. It was almost $7,000 for 6 months. The funny thing is that you have to pay 6 months upfront with FR44. So, when I paid $1,149, I thought that was for 6 months! Well, no, that was per month. I would have never paid that! I'm with another company now, and the premium is $5,000 cheaper.
