Their staff is always friendly and answers all my questions. I might stay with them, but I'm currently researching other options because my rates are high. I understand that my payments increased since I've had two accidents since December 19, 2016. Thankfully, no one was hurt in either accident. The first accident resulted in damages under $9,000 to both vehicles, and it was my only accident in 73 years. The second accident only involved me. Auto-Owners totaled my vehicle and paid me damages of $6206.80. I understand why my rates would increase, but I didn't expect them to be as high as they are, so I thought I'd shop around.

They did not provide me with enough money to cover the purchase of a vehicle similar to mine. Due to the increasing prices of used vehicles, I had to buy a vehicle that was five years older than my previous one. Despite not receiving a ticket, they increased my car insurance by several hundred dollars per year. I'm 62 and have never had any tickets or accidents before. No other vehicle was involved.

Regina, my agent, has been great. However, incorrect information was entered by Nexusis, which wrongly impacted my driving record. Additionally, Auto Owners' rates are increasing dramatically. I am also being double invoiced for a policy that is already paid through December 14, 2019. I'm unsure about what's happening with Auto-Owners or Clinard Insurance Agency. Despite these issues, I appreciate the personal service from my agent, Regina, who has always been helpful with my insurance.

Too difficult to deal with for claims. They charged my wife as responsible for an accident in a parking lot when her car was struck from behind. My car was totaled in another accident where I was rear-ended on an exit by a truck, which pushed me into a van. AO hired an appraiser to get the value of my vehicle and then arbitrarily and unilaterally reduced the value given. I had been warned this would happen by another insured.
