I understand that my payments increased since I've had two accidents since December 19, 2016. Thankfully, no one was hurt in either accident. The first accident resulted in damages under $9,000 to both vehicles, and it was my only accident in 73 years. The second accident only involved me. Auto-Owners totaled my vehicle and paid me damages of $6206.80. I understand why my rates would increase, but I didn't expect them to be as high as they are, so I thought I'd shop around.
