It's expensive for one person who has never had an accident. I've been with them since 1972. I live in town and drive 12 miles a week.

Expensive.

I've been a member since the 60's and have made several claims on homeowners and auto insurance. I couldn't find a better insurance company than USSA.

In my opinion, they spend too much money on celebrity advertising instead of reducing rates.

Excellent - they were quick when I had an accident and were very kind and polite.

The woman who helped me was very friendly and took a lot of time to help me understand what options I had.

I've been with USAA for a while and they were great in the beginning. However, after experiencing some misfortunes, including a few accidents - one of which was my fault, my insurance rates skyrocketed. I can no longer afford them, which is why I'm currently shopping for another insurance company.

The company is excellent for insurance, particularly home insurance. However, be very cautious with their banking services!

I paid less when I had my Prius than I do now. I haven't had any tickets or accidents in many years. I barely drive, except for going to the VA Hospital. My Chevy pickup stays in the building all the time. I don't drive more than 4,000 miles a year. I shouldn't have to pay so much.

They offer great prices for premium coverage. Even with an accident on record, they are much cheaper than other companies providing minimum coverage.

I requested to lower my car insurance rate and was satisfied.

Work better with your customers; don't just shut their insurance off. I thought mine was on auto-pay, but it wasn't. By the time I realized it, they had canceled my policy. Then, less than 30 days later, I called to get it reinstated, and it went up by $100 a month. Plus, nobody could help me, even though my husband asked them to add me to the account so I wouldn't have to verify every time.

I am a disabled veteran. I lost my phone and got a new number. I needed to adjust my policy and had forgotten my old phone number and password codes. They would not allow access to my account to make changes. It became a nightmare. Otherwise, they are a good company.

The roadside assistance is terrible. They are not very reliable to show up. I got help only once out of six times.

Your rates are too high for military veterans and seniors.

The prices are extremely high considering the year and make of my car. It doesn't seem to be veteran-friendly anymore.

After receiving a quote of $54 for the first payment, and $40+ per month, Suzi insisted on 'reviewing' the answers I submitted online. She took this opportunity to add coverage I didn't request or want. When she finished, her offer was over $200/month. No thanks, 'Suzi'.

They treat you like a fraudster with their pin and password, SS number verification. They are not very friendly either; they act like you are inconveniencing them and just want to go home at 5 pm. My anxiety increases when I call them.

I recently sold my Lexus and attempted to remove it from my insurance policy. I was told that I first had to surrender the plates and registration, which I had already done in compliance with Florida law. I believe this should reduce my monthly insurance payment.

After 56 years of membership and multiple insurance policies including autos, home, rentals, and personal policies, I am treated like a bad risk. This is despite paying thousands of dollars a month for over fifty years.

If you can't make your payment on time, they will charge you. I called to let them know that the day they had scheduled to take their payment did not coincide with my payday. It was two days later and they are going to charge me $15.00. I don't think so!

USAA seems to inflate the replacement value of your home and charges a premium well above competitors' rates. At policy renewal time, my premium became price prohibitive, causing me to switch carriers for over a thousand dollars in savings. While this company is rated as number one by Consumer Reports, it's just too expensive.

Absolutely terrible. This company left me without a car for 8 months. They couldn't decide whether or not to total my car after it was already repaired. There were so many mistakes on their end and all I received at the end was a voicemail acknowledging their mistakes and an apology. This was literally the worst experience I've had with an insurance company. I'm traumatized!
