It's very sufficient and helpful.

We've been with GEICO for over 10 years. It's a good company, but the prices keep going higher and higher. With no accidents or tickets, we are still paying too much. It's just time for a change. Better pricing, more options.

Excellent communication and service.

I have been very happy with Geico. They were there and insured me when everyone else wanted to charge me twice as much, and that was more than 5 years ago. My rates at one point were as low as $35 a month, and then all of a sudden they shot up to $55 to $58 a month with zero tickets, zero accidents, and zero claims, which is why I started shopping around. But to be perfectly honest, even though I can get insurance for $14 less a month on average, I think I'm going to stick with Geico because they were there when I needed a break, and that goes a long way with me.

Geico was my current provider and their rates went up way too much to justify staying with them.

I have had Geico for a long time, never had a problem. The only claim I have ever had was for my windshield when it caught a rock. They were really good and got my windshield fixed for a reasonable price. I have a pretty new car with the cameras. I just think they are a little high priced, but no complaints with service.

Geico charges for paper bills; they only work through the internet. I would rather pay from an invoice. They charge me $75 for a 6-month policy for state minimum coverage. That is way too expensive for a 20-year-old car. I should have many discounts as a 60-year-old female.

They are overly expensive, and every year without notice, your premium goes up.

The DriveEasy program sounds like a great resource, but the actual app tracking itself is really finicky, unreliable, and seems to assume that any hard braking, cornering issues, or speed variances are entirely the fault of the driver. It does not factor in the actual reality of responding to the driving environment around you, which ultimately might lead to poor or unfavorable scores so that the discount might not actually be all it's advertised to be.

I have had a great experience with GEICO. They were easy to contact and I got a great rate. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Too expensive for basic coverage.

I would not use Geico again. I had them for over 15 years and they refused to work with me. I went to another reputable insurance company and got my full coverage insurance for half the price.

I am 72 years old. No tickets, no DUI, no accidents, yet my plan is very expensive! I see in the media advertising for $39. I cannot understand what is going on!

$2600 a year is too high. I've only had one accident with this car, and it was a single at-fault incident.

Geico has been steadily raising our rate, and we have no accidents or tickets. I went to switch to Progressive, who saved me a considerable amount of money, but when my wife got on with Geico to cancel, they said we were on an old system and she could beat Progressive by $100. My wife said yes, and we are paid for the year. I would have happily paid Progressive the extra $100 to get away from Geico.

Geico quoted me a 6-month price. I paid the bill, then they raised it by $300 after I had canceled my current insurance. I would never recommend GEICO.

I’m a senior and I have had a great record. Until 2025, I was in a wreck with no ticket. I was initially told both parties were at fault, but later it was determined to be my fault. I just received a new used 2019 Nissan Armada, and I pay $197.00 a month, which I find ridiculous. Because it is financed, I need to carry full coverage. I don’t feel I have a fair deal.

Very, very hard to work through. We have an antique computer and cannot print PDF files, on and on. Your claim reps were very good. I asked them to send everything through the US mail, which they have so far. We had a very hard time with the safe drivers school as my computer system does not seem up to the needs. Anyway, got through it and hopefully y'all have received a copy. Been with you for 40 years, so we do think well of you.

Make sure you know the final price is the one quoted. Geico nickeled and dimed us after we agreed on a policy fee.

Geico was very good until I was able to get a premium from another insurance company for half the price.

Geico was fine for 22 years! Then my son used my car while visiting from Florida and got in an accident. They covered me just fine, BUT 2 months after the accident, they raised my rate from $130/month to $330/month. I called to discuss and was told I had to prove my son didn’t live with me. I provided his apartment lease, a paystub, a Florida bank account, and a Florida driver's license, but none of it mattered. They would not remove him from my policy. After 22 years with nothing but a few windshield claims, they increased my rate significantly, so I had to switch.

I started paying $168 with GEICO, and now it's $296. I've been with GEICO for over 5 years. Not worth it.

Not great. The price was really too high in the beginning. Now they want to increase it because one person doesn’t use the Drive Easy app, as it’s too hard to stay connected to it.

Unreal how long it took to even get through the process. First, I had to take pictures. For some reason, they don’t send anybody to look at your car anymore. That took a day. Then I had to email everything to some office, and it took four days for that person to get back to me. Another afternoon and the next day to get a Rent-A-Car. Also, it was almost impossible to pick a car. I ended up having to spend 20 extra dollars a day because it was a larger car. Today, the process has taken almost 2 weeks, the car is in a shop, and no one from GEICO has called me for over a week. Really a very bad experience with GEICO. I’ve been a customer for 30 years at least, and I’ve never experienced this lack of care from anyone else.

Things started out well with a good price for the vehicle coverage. The problem arose after my son was involved in a no-fault accident where he was struck by another driver. Geico paid a claim to have the vehicle repaired but failed to pursue the other driver who had run the traffic light. Then, out of nowhere, they dropped coverage for the vehicle, citing the accident as the reason. After years of payments without ever being late or missing a payment, this is how they treat a long-valued customer. It shows no loyalty from the company.

GEICO is unbelievable with their rates. We have a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2014 GMC Terrain. My husband drives approximately 2 miles one way four times a week to work. My Terrain hardly ever leaves the yard. I’m retired, so it only goes when I need to go shopping, which is maybe 4 miles from us on occasion. We currently pay $173 a month for these vehicles. My husband has no tickets. I have a ticket from approximately three years ago when I was backing out of a parking space and a lady came around the corner real fast and hit me, so I’m assuming this charges against me. I canceled and moved back to my previous insurance company, which even lowered my previous rate, and my monthly payment decreased by over $80 a month on a 6-month policy. I was quoted $210 per month, but since then the cost has increased to over $500 with no explanation. I've repeatedly sent messages but received no response.

I believe I am overcharged. I have paid my premium regularly and on time for over six years, with no claims! When I called to see if I could get my rates reduced and add my son to my policy, they offered no help. I'm not a fan of Geico and would not recommend them!

When I called to cancel, they said they would match the new company's rate. Why didn't they automatically adjust my payment to the best rate? I never had issues until I filed a claim. The adjuster, "Angel," was very unprofessional and incompetent, in my opinion. Otherwise, the service was very great.

I have never received a discount for being a loyal customer. I turned 60 and still no discount. No accidents or tickets, still no discounts. I don't drive much at all, and still no discount! I called them once asking about a lower price, and the man was rude to me. The very next day, he raised my premium! I'm going to find a different company. I just haven't had the time to do it.
