All good... never had to use the insurance. The only issue is the price of coverage is crazy out of control.

I’m satisfied with GEICO. My one problem is we both had an extremely minor dent in a parking lot that was caused by another driver. Nobody paid anything as it was so small and not our fault, but GEICO has added 1 collision to our record. GEICO didn’t have to pay, but I’m still listed as having a collision.

GEICO is a good company overall, but if you don’t shop around, then over the course of 3 to 6-month terms, it will go up and only keep getting more expensive. Currently, the quote is double the rest of the competition. They handled the claim we made but did not offer a very good price for the car after it was totaled. We could not even come close to replacing the vehicle for what they gave us. Also, they break down the options too much; some of these should be bundled for a price. It can get confusing. Overall, it’s expensive and not worth it in the end if you do have an accident.

Very bad, definite lack of communication and transparency. Rate increases with no explanations, so you have to call and get transferred around a lot just to get answers. Then they act like you should be grateful for their service.

I have a 1989 Chevy pickup truck, and they're charging me $80 a month for liability insurance. It's way overpriced; it's a joke. I don't drive over 50 miles a week, and they still charge me $80 a month. I'm sure it's going to go up.

GEICO is too expensive. I have been with them for 24 years. I have had the same cars for 10 and 6 years, and my rates have gone up every year. No claims and I am over 50.

There is absolutely no reason to raise my insurance every 6 months, especially since I have had no accidents, tickets, or DWIs.

I have been with Geico for 29 years. A lady backed into my little Elantra while I was sitting still at a Walgreens drive-thru. She was driving a Pilot SUV. She crumpled my hood, but she had no damage. No one was hurt. While she and a child were playing in the parking lot waiting for the officer to arrive, I took pictures and tried talking with her. She put her hand in my face without saying a word. I thought this woman was going to be trouble. It became clear very fast that this accident was a setup. A black truck came out of nowhere, and he was her witness. He was not on the scene at all. There were no tickets issued. Geico turned down the claim, and I was found not at fault. She sued Geico and got a settlement for $32,000. Four years and six months later, I'm still upset. This was a terrible injustice, and I am still paying an unfair amount for car insurance. The morning I was to give a deposition, I got a call from the court saying a settlement had been made!

The price is much too high for me. I have had no accidents or tickets since I’ve been driving, and I’m a senior on a fixed budget.

Terrible. They cut my insurance off because they emailed me asking for documents to prove that someone did not drive my car. I am 65 and since retired, I don't check my emails regularly. There was no contact by mail or phone. I was driving around with no insurance and didn't know it. The person they needed information on lives three and a half hours away and owns the house I live in.

Love the insurance company. A great rate for someone who has never had a ticket or accident. Downloaded the Geico mobile app but have not been able to use it once. It constantly says the password is invalid. I reset it three times and called twice to speak with a representative. They said they would send me a link to reset it, but it still says it is an invalid password. Very frustrating, and I don't know how much longer I will be with you guys. My payment comes out automatically every single month, and I've never missed one.

If you have an accident claim, you better hope you have video footage of every second. We got hit from behind and the person fled the scene. I hit the person in front of me, and they didn't have damage, so they left. There was nothing I could do. I hadn't even thought about taking photos yet. It took 4 months for them to come to an arrangement for us and ended up telling me that they don't believe someone hit us from behind, so they weren't covering that damage. And since I hit the person in front of me from the impact, I now have an "At fault" accident on my record. The claims people were hard to get a hold of. If I mentioned getting a lawyer, they'd respond quickly. Yes, they have cheap monthly payments, but that's because they won't pay out if you have an accident.

The price doubled for the exact same coverage.

As with any corporation, Geico has its downsides. I experienced an issue with a broken windshield caused by a stone from a dump truck. Geico marked it as a claim, which affected my rate and made it more expensive. This forced me to cancel my full coverage. Why should my rate increase for an incident like a windshield?

Every 6 months, no matter what, my rate increases. Even though I only drive 2,000 miles a year and use their app to monitor my driving, it still goes up. This is why I'm leaving.

Poor customer service, with automated responses and no option to speak to a person. They made changes to my policy without discussing it with me. I switched insurance companies to save money, but they raised my rates without discussion, bringing me back to my old higher rate.

Price and quote cost switching is deceitful and dishonest. Geico consistently quotes lower prices, and after paying the premium, then increases the cost by 20% or more and charges again without approval! This has happened several different times.

Geico is way too expensive for seniors who are on a fixed income. They need to have special insurance just for people in this low-income bracket.

In my opinion, it's overpriced in certain areas. I have no tickets, DUIs, or anything for many, many years, and I still pay a high premium. My other vehicle is a truck that I drive maybe once a month, and I'm paying a high premium for that too. I think it's a bit ridiculous. I believe someone in their 60s, almost 70, should get a lower premium for a good driving record, but that doesn't happen.

They cancel your policy if you miss a payment.

My experience was not so positive. They charged me double payments during the last 3 months of my being with them. I tried my best to understand why they were doing that but failed to receive an explanation. I didn't want to walk away from GEICO, but I just couldn't afford to stay with them. Customer service is okay, but the value is terrible. I’m 70 years old and have been driving since I was 16 years old. I've never had an accident, yet because a friend took my car without my permission and had an accident, and another friend was waiting in a Walmart parking lot when a gust of wind took the door and it hit the car next to me, my surcharge is very high.

The problem with Geico is the cost of insurance. I have been with them for over 60 years.

I am 92 years old and only drive 2 blocks to Walmart and 3 blocks to the doctor. I have had no claims since 2012, but I am paying $100.50 per month for nothing except because I have to have insurance. It seems I am being charged more than my car is worth. I drive less than 50 miles a day but don't get that privilege.

I think all insurance these days is outrageous. I believe it's this state, California. I have been a loyal customer to Geico and every time I turn around they are raising my rates. When I ask why, they say it's because of accidents that other customers are having. I don't see why I should have to pay more because of other people. I would love to leave them, but no one can beat them on pricing. So I'm stuck.
