Good company and responsible.

It's only been a few months. So far, so good.

Overpriced, but that's what you get when you have a small car with tickets.

So far, they have given me everything that I need and helped me change what I need changed.

The mobile app that checks your driving so you can get the good driver discount didn't always connect while I was driving, and I didn't get a good score at all. When I called Geico, the woman on the other end said there was nothing she could do and I could start it over in 6 months when I renew my policy. This is terrible. I'm a very good driver, and because of my score from a faulty program, I didn't get anything for joining the program. Very, very disappointed.

I find Geico on top of things. I'm very satisfied; they move quickly on anything that goes wrong.

I have not had them for 6 months yet, but I do not drive much. I need something more affordable as I am living on a fixed income and barely getting by.

Geico allows you to pay for four months and receive six months of coverage. That's why I have been with Geico since 2016. So, for 8 months, I pay for 12 months of coverage, and I have four months where I don't pay anything.

I am a retired senior citizen surviving on month-to-month SSA payments. My situation is barely livable; however, they had their reasons for canceling my policy term due to my homelessness. I simply cannot afford to buy or rent a home, so I live in my vehicle to survive. They said since I could not provide a garaging address, my policy as well as my driving privileges could be canceled. I have been with Geico for fifteen years and I'm heartbroken and in jeopardy of losing my only home.

I think your pricing compared to other companies is not competitive. I could save $750 with another company.

I applied and paid, and then my premiums were increased. You said I had a claim. I finally figured out how to call, and they said to send a claim history. I sent the history, and you still have not decreased my premiums.

Very disappointed that my rates have doubled for no apparent reason. To go from $104 to $200 with no reason given, and I only use it for pleasure, is ridiculous. I drive less than 3000 miles a year now. I lost my job and I'm on disability.

Too expensive! They double premiums without notice. They say 6 months, yet it's 5 months with 4 times what my previous monthly payment was. I would not recommend.

The pricing is way too high. Pricing should be based on a driver's driving history. I have been driving for over 70 years without even a parking ticket. I only had one minor accident where I was hit from behind by a woman test driving her husband's new truck for her very first time driving a truck.

Find another insurance company. Their rates are insane, and they pay any scammer's claim, leaving you disadvantaged.

Rates keep going up and I have no claims, no tickets, no DUIs. I drive 7,000 miles a year.

I had to switch to another insurance company because GEICO would not lower my rate after raising it by $1000 for a lapse in insurance that they never informed me about. They never reverted to my old rate, which forced me to switch to another insurance company, Progressive.

No contact or claim. Just a constant increase in rate.

Poor. They use bait and switch tactics. The final quote was more than double what they had offered on their website.

I was in a very minor low-speed accident that caused minimal damage to the other vehicle. I sent in photos and a video of the accident as it occurred. The damage was possibly $1500 worth to the rear bumper area. Geico totaled out the other person’s car for over $8000 without even looking at my pictures or video. And then, of course, raised my rates, with no accidents in 45 years of driving.

Overcharging. The same coverage is available for half the price elsewhere.

They got away with overcharges and changes to my contract without my consent. The price changed too many times in just 2 months. I canceled my service.

The price keeps going up without any tickets.

Geico was unwilling to review and lower my premium when they made a mistake. They were charging me for two vehicles when only one was on the policy. They did not follow instructions to cancel one vehicle and kept charging me the same premium for one. I called them several times to clarify, and they acted like they did not care and said, "That is the premium." But when I canceled, all of a sudden they were ready to negotiate a lower rate.

Searching for a new provider due to cost.

I found the same policy for half the cost elsewhere. As someone who is fully disabled and homeless, I can't afford around $1,700 yearly.

I have had this company insure my car for the last 5 or 6 years. I have asked them to please send my insurance cards by mail to my address, and yet they do not. Every 6 months I have to contact them and ask them to mail the cards. I have told them I do not have a printer.

I called to ask a question about whether or not GEICO would still cover the repair of a chipped windshield with a crack less than 4 inches and waive my $500 deductible. The answer was no, but the customer service agent wrote this up as a claim. My policy was due for renewal, and GEICO increased my premium by about another $50 per month! I am a retiree. I am comfortable financially, but I don't need any higher costs. I am very disappointed in GEICO after being a customer for more than 3 decades!

Outrageously expensive. I just added another vehicle to my policy, and my policy doubled even though I don't even drive the second car; it's like a weekend car. You can't get through to GEICO because of the automated system. Sometimes you spend hours on the phone.

It is difficult to explain when you have co-workers who are older, have a New York State driver's license from a few months ago, a slightly older vehicle, and still have full coverage, yet pay much less than me. That disappoints me about GEICO because I understood that it was one of the best and cheapest insurers on the market. However, I see how I pay almost $300 while they pay $150 or $180, and they are much older in age. I don't understand why my insurance doesn't go down. I've been with GEICO for more than a year, and the only solution I have is to change insurers in this new year.

I'm paying way too much a month! $234?? My vehicle has basic coverage and is a 2008. Since registering it in April, I've had zero problems, no tickets or accidents. Just because of the accident I had with my father's car, which did not involve anyone else, just me, I shouldn't be paying an amount I can't afford! I'm disabled since 2009 and have a fixed income, so paying this much means I have to live in my vehicle. Either I pay rent, or I drive, but I can't afford both. It isn't fair.

I got a rate a year ago. No claims in the first 6-month and second 6-month periods. Their driver spy score went from 100 to 86 over two policy periods. The rate went from mid $500s up after the first 6 months. The second six months quote is at $710. I am canceling them.

I want to tell everybody to avoid Geico. I had a claim for a windshield, and they told me I didn't have windshield coverage. They said I had renter's insurance, which is not true. I did not have renter's insurance, nor did I want it. I told them I wanted the windshield coverage included with my insurance, but I never got it. I never liked Geico after that. They kept raising my premiums, even though I haven't had a ticket in 25 years. I'm still paying almost $100 every month. I'm going somewhere else because I can get it much cheaper, saving myself around $60.

This company keeps raising rates with no justification.

Check transparency and rates at every policy renewal. Unfortunately, I learned that the insurance trend is to lower premiums to gain customers, then raise prices higher than before after a few cycles. Stop penalizing good and safe drivers who barely need to drive due to working remotely. Everyone is not the same.

Hold times for customer service representatives were more than two hours on more than one occasion! I was paying more for auto-draft than if I had paid manually on my own.

They increase the rates too often, even when you never use the insurance.

Don't use whatever they are calling their safe driver app. I just tried using it for the first time. For the past 12 months, my insurance premium went from $314 to $340 six months later, then to $450 (but just for a couple of days). Then I was told that my driving was subpar based on the app. So with no accidents or citations, my "safe driver" discount of $50 something was revoked and a sanction of $80 something was added, making my new 6-month policy premium $650. Talking to them did no good. The system will not allow a CSR to make a change or override the charges. So, because it was the principle of it all, I figured if I was gonna pay more, I would do it on my terms. I pay more than $650, but I don't pay it to a company that said one thing and did another.

Sorry, it's too expensive for a senior who drives less than 100 miles per month.

At first, it was very easy and fast to get coverage. Then I tried to communicate to change it, and it was impossible. It was very expensive for a '98 car, and I have no accidents or tickets; my record is clean. I wanted to see options and could never communicate. I had to change my insurance.

Make sure to ask what the policy costs for the whole year. The Geico salesperson told me what six months cost, making me believe that would be the cost every six months.
