The policy is great for what we pay. However, when you have to file a claim, it seems you receive different answers, and no one knows anything. The claims adjuster was rude and took time to process my claim. It took a month to receive a settlement check, and the totaled car still has yet to be paid off.

Insurefy is a waste of time! All these online sites are just middlemen that do nothing but redirect you to the same 3 or 4 mega insurers where you will enter info repeatedly and still must speak to individually. In the end, their quotes will all be high and they will not save you any time shopping. Claimed advertised supposed savings is complete fiction.

I have been insured by GEICO since 1994. I am very pleased with their customer service and the price of my policy. I have checked with other companies and no one comes close to their insurance rates. I would highly recommend GEICO.

Adequate, doesn’t include regular maintenance but roadside assistance was excellent. Joe gave me a jump and escorted me to the nearest garage for a new battery and warranty. I did not wait long for battery installation.

I am a loyal customer and haven’t had any issues in 40 years. I had a slight fender bender, my fault - no damage to my car, but the other party got a crooked lawyer/doctor and made a large medical claim, which Geico paid off as a joke lawsuit. The downside is now my rates have gone up and no other insurance company will take me for 3 years. I would really appreciate it if Geico could find a way to help a poor senior living on social security.

My policy was priced average, then I had some financial problems with my bank and let it lapse. The following week, I was going to reactivate it, but it was too pricey.

It's expensive, and being on social security, it's hard to manage. My next payment is $500. There's no dedicated agent to talk to; you get a different one every time.

Read all legal documents. They classified my student as a Named Driver Excluded, and when she drove one day with my permission, she was in a low-impact collision at a stoplight, less than 10 mph. They denied the claim due to classifying her as Excluded when I requested she be marked as not living with me and attending school, which is an Inactive status. Now they have put me and my family in a difficult position as I'm now required to pay for the property damage.

Don’t go with them. They said we had a single roof, a one-car garage, a pool, and other things. In fact, we have a metal roof, no garage, and no pool—but our neighbor does. I emailed them and never heard back, so we canceled.

I could never get a hold of my agent. In my experience, my insurance went up over the last two months. I’d tell people not to use the agent I had, and the company raised my insurance price back to back. Stay clear of this one.

I have been with GEICO for many years. After a move, I found the people with whom I spoke vacillating on coverages and premiums. Within a four-week period, I was given four different premium amounts to pay, with the coverage period and dates due changing. I had already paid one, and the difference to make up for the highest premium exceeded the amount actually owed. I was unable to get answers and am most displeased. One of the women was extremely rude (which is unusual for GEICO to begin with), didn't listen, and was a total waste of time.

I'm not going to keep GEICO. I pay over $300 a month for insurance, and it doesn't even include roadside assistance. I ran out of gas one day and couldn't get anyone to come and help me. I had to get an Uber to the gas station and pay $35 for a gas can just to put a couple of dollars in my car, only to find out I don't have roadside assistance through GEICO.

Geico in Florida offers 6-month premiums, unlike my birthplace of Boston, MA, where everyone's policies are for 1 full year each. I loved 1-year policies! It took me forever to get used to 6-month policies. Now, I've had no accidents in over 30, or is it the last 35 years? As well as no tickets in over 20, or is it the last 25 years? And for my last renewal, Geico decided to raise my renewal bill by over $200. It's bad enough my insane love I've had my entire life for my Jaguars, my Corvettes, and/or my Lincoln Town Cars has cost me over an arm and a leg, especially for the repairs part of those equations. Anyways, this is why I'm leaving Geico. Besides, I haven't even been with them that long. I am sure I will find cheaper insurance in no time at all! Thank you very much!

GEICO raises rates without notice. They do not give options for lowering rates. There are loyalty rewards if you have been with them for a certain amount of time.

Skip GEICO and find another insurance company. My insurance went from $114 a month to $179 a month for no reason. I found much better coverage and a whole lot cheaper with State Farm.

It's gone up in cost every year. When it renews in June, it'll cost 33% more than the last renewal. We've not had any claims nor traffic citations.

I've only had Progressive for 3 days. It's a reputable company, and the rates were surprisingly much lower than those that advertise "new law allows drivers who drive less than 50 miles a day to get insurance under $1 per day," but then their quote ends up being $3 or more per day when you do the math. Progressive worked out to not much over $1 per day for slightly more than minimum coverage, with a 6-month term, paid in full upfront. Payment plans started at under $20 more in total.

For people that have been with them for so long, they should get some kind of discount or something for being loyal.

With both GEICO and Progressive, my experiences have been bad, mostly regarding billing. They both quoted a certain amount and payment schedule, and then after the first payment, they increased the future payments by an extremely higher amount than agreed upon, without me being aware. They make policy changes without notice and don’t hold up their end of the agreement. Very disappointed in both.

Do not use Geico; they make changes to your policy without authorization. They are constantly raising rates without notice.

They tripled my annual rate and I only have 3 points on my driver's license. I got a ticket for failure to maintain my lane. I'm very unhappy with my insurance.
