I would definitely recommend Allstate. My agent has been there for me when I moved and was required to have rental insurance. He made sure they received a copy every year. They are a bit pricey but provide good coverage and once you reach a certain level, the deductible is waived.

The policy keeps increasing in price for the same coverage. I've only used it once for a roof repair a couple of years ago. If I could, I would go without insurance. I find it unfair to pay so much for insurance that isn't used frequently. As for car insurance, I plan to go without it next year because it's too expensive for an older car, and I can barely afford liability coverage. The high cost of insurance even discourages me from buying a new car.
