I haven't been with Allstate for very long, just almost 2 years, and I've never filed a claim or had any accidents. However, anytime I've asked my agent about anything related to my policy, he was always willing to help me out. The monthly fees I am paying for full coverage are fair compared to many other agencies that have offered me the same policy but for more money. What I like the most about this company are two things: the yearly discount on my collision deductible if I don't have any accidents in a year (so far my deductible has dropped $100), and the fact that they can track all my trips through my phone using the Allstate app. If I am driving properly, as I usually do, they will add another discount when renewing my policy. This year, they deducted almost $70 off my renewal for being a safe driver.

I understand the problems with all the lost vehicles and claims, but I don't feel I should have to foot the bill on the vehicles I have that only have liability. I also think you should give a discount for customers that have been loyal and long-lasting customers. Instead, our premiums go up every six months. As far as the ability to file a claim, you're pretty good.

On the same day, I also received a non-renewal notice from Allstate. Interestingly, the notice stated that the consumer reporting at LexisNexis did not influence their decision. Furthermore, the service provided by Jeff Tucket's team, particularly Deanna and Krista, has been subpar. Krista sold me a home policy with promises she couldn't keep, and I regret switching from my previous home insurance. Allstate couldn't even match the same coverages. The only competent person there seems to be Zach Perry, who goes above and beyond to assist his clients. Deanna, or Dianna, made mistakes on my policy and when I asked to speak to her boss, Jeff, she made disparaging comments about him. I was surprised by her unprofessionalism. Dealing with a claim with Allstate has been a challenging experience. They tend to offer lower payments and prolong the process for months. It's been 9 months and they've only paid two-thirds of what's owed. I had to escalate the issue to the State of Ohio and am considering getting a lawyer involved. Despite having a leaking roof and stained walls, they were only willing to pay $40 for labor and paint for a 12 x 12 room, which is barely enough to cover the cost of paint. They often cite depreciation and pre-existing conditions to reduce the payments to a client. I would recommend seeking insurance from a company that is more reliable in settling their claims.
