I had no problems with them, I just couldn't understand why my policy increased by $138.00.

They offer a really good rate in the beginning, but then your rates increase substantially each year. This happens even though you don't have any tickets, accidents, or claims, and haven't had any of those in over 30-40 years. Plus, you drive less than 2500 miles per year. Given my outstanding clean driving record and the small number of miles I drive per year, I feel that my rates have increased too much since I first purchased my policy with them in 2020-2021.

The customer service is very good. However, between retirement and the pandemic, I drive very little (around 2000 miles per year), yet my premiums are high for such little use.

Simple and clear with all aspects of individual coverage made clear.

I would advise against choosing Liberty Mutual due to their high prices. I was paying $125 a month. However, after shopping around, I found another provider where I am now only paying $65 a month. I calculated that I overpaid by $60 a month for 12 months, which amounts to $720 a year. I was with them for 6 years, so in total, I overpaid by $4,320. Therefore, I strongly recommend shopping around unless you have $4,320 to spare.

There aren't many who don't. All insurance companies seem to rip off good senior drivers. They charge way too much if you have one ticket, even if it wasn't in your own car, and a minor accident from over three years ago!

Thus, they not only lack graciousness at ending relationships, but they're also hypocrites.

About 10 years ago, a fraudulent claim was made against me. Despite my insistence that it was fraud, the company still paid the claim.
